As our motto “Golf for All” suggests, the Northeast Accessible Golf Association is dedicated to inclusion, and specifically to bringing developmentally and physically challenged individuals into the game of golf.

Amputee Veteran on the golf course. At the Northeast Accessible Golf Association, we work with individuals, community groups, Veterans Hospitals and adaptive sports programs to bring a holistic approach to therapy and recovery.
Golf is unique because players of any age, skill level or gender can play and compete together. Golf can mean recreational physical therapy for special needs athletes and their families and friends. It can be a meditative hour in nature for an amputee regaining independence. Or it can be a shared social activity for Down Syndrome or autistic athletes.

For the Veteran, golf can be therapeutic, providing a quiet interlude for regaining equilibrium or an opportunity for reconnecting with friends and family. Imagine the retiree struggling with Parkinsons, getting together with other experienced players who would like to get back into the game they love and miss after a derailing diagnosis.

The Northeast Accessible Golf Association is dedicated to facilitating such opportunities, which have been life-changing for many.
